He has served on the mission field, providing free care for those in need in Africa, Guatemala, Peru, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Panama and  Romania. He has also served in China, Russia, Cuba and the Czech Republic.
I believe in a conservative approach to dentistry.  We were taught to use extreme care in shaping teeth: for instance in removing decay I was taught to use 3 levels of decay removal (fast speed then slow speed and then by hand…in order to lessen heat and friction sensitivity). This procedure also insures that all decay is removed! I prefer to save natural tooth structure and to do crowns only when necessary. I have 37 years of experience in making dentures (including the first titanium-gold denture made in a private dental office), performing root canals (using a combination of the most advanced techniques), filling teeth with natural looking cosmetic  composites in a precise layered technique, using diagnostic techniques to discover and treat hidden occlusal problems, and teaching patients on how to take care of their teeth and gingiva. I was one of the first dentists to employ digital x-rays here in Dallas and enjoy exploring new techniques to save teeth.  Years ago I discovered an incredibly  strong, new material to repair teeth temporarily.  Since we need our teeth to last a lifetime I always use a child tooth polish to polish teeth when doing even a simple cleaning.  Serving the public has been a passion and a joy, and so we try to balance a person’s needs with what they can afford.  We are eager to meet you and to help you preserve your teeth and your smile.
